Stay Creative

September 13, 2012

I've been MIA for the past few days because my roommate from college came out to visit. I haven't seen her since Jake and I got married (over 2 years ago). Seeing her was long overdue. We managed to squeeze a lot of stuff into a short amount of time. Now back to work, but I think my long to-do list has just left me feeling lazy. You know when you have so much to do you don't know where to start so you just don't do anything? That's how I'm feeling today. Really it's just a bunch of little things so I should just suck it up and do it; or maybe I'll put it off a little longer and watch some HGTV first.

I saw this video today and since I'm not really feeling all that creative, I thought it was a good reminder on how to avoid getting burned out.

  1. Thanks for sharing this - I am in the midst of a big long distance move of my household and this reminds me to keep grounded - I especially can relate to #18 and #20. Happy Friday, JosephineTomato

    1. Glad you liked it. I hope your move goes smoothly. Before you know it you'll be all settled into your new home!

  2. Thank you for sharing this! Summer has gotten away from me, and I have just gotten back to blogging.
And with my blogging I have found myself many of times with a loss of creativity. I am going to put some of these ideas to use. :) Maybe they will help :)

    Have a GREAT weekend!
